When I was young, I always had a favorite book. Although my favorite book changed over the years, it was never far from my side. I read and reread those stories until the pages were worn and the covers faded, refusing to part with them even when they started to fall apart. The 'Curse of the Fairy Tree' would have easily been one of those cherished books.
From the very first page, I was hooked. I couldn’t put it down. This middle grade fantasy took me back to the adventures of my childhood, evoking memories of my favorite coming-of-age movies such as Now and Then, The Goonies, and Peter Pan. It has a treasure map, friendship, a fairy, and adventure.
I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves middle grade fantasies or is searching for the perfect gift for a young reader. Written by a talented thirteen-year-old, the storytelling exceeded my expectations and easily drew me into its magical world.
